Einladung zu meinem Geburtstag am 23.06.2011
Ich möchte Euch ganz herzlich zu meinem 35. Geburtstag am 23. 06. einladen. Um 15 Uhr gibt es Waffeln mit Sahne und heißen Kirschen, und abends ein kleines vegetarisches Buffett!!!  Ich freue mich auf Euch!

Zur Ruhe kommt man, 
wenn man sich auf das Wesentliche beschränkt, 
und wenn man anhält, findet man Halt!
Das sind meine Einsichten, über die ich zur Zeit meditiere, während ich meine Planung für die nächsten Wochen mache. Nach langer Zeit verbringe ich den Sommer in Deutschland. Es ist so eine Freude, meinen Garten mit Blumen zu bepflanzen, und lange genug da zu sein, um mich auch daran zu erfreuen! So viel Schmetterlinge und Vögel wohnen bei mir, in der Hecke und im Wäldchen. Es blüht und riecht wunderbar. 22 Jahre bin ich nun auf meiner Reise durch die Welt, 20 Jahre davon mit Rebirthing Atemarbeit.20 Jahre reisen und dabei Menschen, Kulturen und Länder kennenzulernen. Ich bin zutiefst dankbar für all die lieben Menschen in der ganzen Welt!

Meine Arbeit in Deutschland ist eine große Bereicherung. Alles was in mir 20 Jahre gewachsen ist, zu sammeln und nach Außen zu geben. Der rote Faden meines Lebens ist immer da. Hier in Wipperfürth kann ich praktisch politische, geistige, spirituelle, persönliche und professionelle Arbeit zusammen fügen.
Die diesjährige Jahreshauptversammlung von RBI e.V. Deutschland fand am 6. Mai 2011 statt. Es war ein sehr konstruktives Treffen, wir machten Pläne für dieses Jahr, einiges ist davon schon umgesetzt, diese Newsletter ist ja auch ein Teil davon.  Lamia und ich wurden als Vorstand bestätigt.

 Tchydjo, unser  schamanischer Freund aus Brasilien hat mich in seinen Zeremonien selbst sehr bewegt. Die Medizin des Amazonas ist voller Kraft und Weisheit. Mein Magen, mein Stresspunkt,  in den ich Dinge in der Vergangenheit hineingefressen habe, zeigte sich auch sehr bewegt. Nun gibt es auch eine Schwitzhütte in meinem Zentrum, Ich hatte auch danach noch eine Zeit der Ruhe bevor ich nun meine Arbeit in Deutschland wieder aufzubauen begann. Wir planen Tchydjo zu einem weiteren Besuch nach Weihnachten einzuladen

·1.- 3.07.2011    „Der Reichtum in mir – die Reise meiner Seele“
Was macht mich in meinem Leben wirklich reich? In diesem Seminar werden wir erkunden, was mich so einzigartig macht, was meine Mission, meine Lernaufgabe in meinem Leben ist, und wie ich sie besser leben und in meinem täglichen Leben verwirklichen kann.

·8. – 10 07. 2011  „Die Sprachen der Liebe“
Wie finde ich die Sprache, die mich und meinen Partner (oder Freunde und Familie) glücklich macht. Wie definiere ich Liebe und wie kann ich sie in Freude und Begeisterung leben.

·15. – 17.07.2011  „Ich öffne meine Augen und sehe mich“
Sehtraining, das mehr als nur das gute Sehen fördert. Wir entdecken, wie unsere Persönlichkeit und die Psyche mit der Wahrnehmung unserer Welt verbunden sind. Blockaden und Unflexibilität können wir auflösen, damit wir die Welt in seiner Fülle sehen können, und gleichzeitig unsere Sicht verbessern.

·22. - 24. 07 2011 „Ich stehe zu mir“
Familienaufstellung einmal anders. Wie stehe ich zu mir im Kreis aller Aspekte meines Lebens? Welche vielleicht gegensätzlichen Kräfte ziehen mich auseinander, und wie kann ich sie vereinen, so das ich zu einem Ganzen, zu einer Einheit werde?

·29. -31 07 2011   „Liebevolle Kommunikation“
Eine Technik, die zu einem inneren Bedürfnis wird. Wie kann ich mich erfolgreich ausdrücken, so dass sich meine Bedürfnisse erfüllen und auch andere dabei unterstützen kann? Wie finde ich Kompromisse bei scheinbar unlösbaren Problemen?

Beginn jeweils freitagabends um 19.00 Uhr und ist gleichzeitig der Beginn eines 9-tägigen Atemtrainings.

Bericht aus Indien

 Viele haben mich gefragt, wie es denn weiterging in Indien. Nun, der große Erfolg kam eine Woche bevor ich nach Hyderabad abreisen wollte. Nach meinen Vorträgen im Rotari Club und einem anderen öffentlichen Vortrag besuchte uns ein Meditationslehrer, der dort sehr erfolgreich ist. Nach seiner ersten Sitzung sagte er mir, das er 18 Jahre Theorie gelehrt habe, nun bringe ich die wirkliche Erfahrung. Von da ab explodierte die Nachfrage. Er sandte uns viele seiner Schüler, und Annie und ich rebirthten 4 - 6 Leute pro Tag. Ich hatte bereits mein Ticket nach Hyderabad gebucht und flog für 10 Tage dahin, um meine Freunde und Klienten dort zu besuchen, Auch dort gab ich jeden Tag zwischen 3 – 5 Sitzungen. In der Zwischenzeit war der Bedarf in Junagadh nach mehr Sitzungen so groß, das ich mich entschied noch einmal für 6 Tage vor meinem Rückflug nach Deutschland dorthin zurückzukehren. Annie und ich bildeten 2 Rebirther aus. Am Tag vor meiner Abreise fuhren wir zu Baghwan, einem weisen Lehrer, und seinem Ashram und dort hatte ich die große Ehre auch einen Vortrag zu halten. Er wurde per Radio bis in die USA übertragen.  Nun gibt es sehr, sehr viele Menschen in Indien, die auf unsere Rückkehr warten. Es ist mein großer Wunsch, im November/ Dezember wieder dorthin zu fliegen mit einem internationalen Team von Atemlehrern um dort weitere Rebirther auszubilden  Unsere Arbeit in Junagadh war überwiegend unbezahlt. Bei einem monatlichen Einkommen von 100 € um damit die ganze Familie zu ernähren ist nicht sehr viel finanziell zu erwarten. Das was zurückkommt ist auf tieferer Ebene. Die Dankbarkeit, Liebe und Achtung war eine herzerwärmende Erfahrung.

Indien, das Land der Extreme
Reisebericht
Am 17. März landete ich in Indien. Genau 2 Monate nachdem Ich das Land verlassen hatte, war ich wieder da  für 7 Wochen! Ich flog dieses mal nach Mumbai über Istanbul, und von dort direkt mit einem Anschlussflug weiter nach Ahmedabad, im Staate Gujarat. Dort ging es weiter mit der Riksha zum Busterminal. Dort 1 Stunde warten und dann mit dem Überlandbus 6 Stunden nach Junagadh. Eine Rikshafahrt ist ein Erlebnis für sich. Erst den Preis zu verhandeln, denn sonst kann man eine unangenehme Erfahrung machen. Wie überall im Leben ist es gut, klare Absprachen zu haben. Ich war ziemlich müde, da meiner Reise bereits über 20 Stunden dauerte. Auf einer bequemen Liege oben im Bus sah ich die Landschaft vorbei fliegen, die Frauen elegant mit schweren Lasten auf dem Kopf laufend, Lasten, die ich nicht mal hochheben kann. Kühe in der Mitte der Strassen, streunende schmutzig Hunde, Müll und Dreck überall, und dazwischen die Schönheit der Gesichter, heilige Tempel in denen die Menschen ihr alltägliches Leben mit Gott teilen. In Indien lebt Gott mit den Menschen und durch die Menschen  Allmorgentliche  und abendliche Glocken klingen in jedem hinduistischen Haus. Jedes Haus hat einen kleinen Altar zu Ehren der Heiligen. Demut dem Höchsten gegenüber ist eine Eigenschaft, die ich persönlich sehr schätze. Sie beinhaltet  auch ein Vertrauen, vielleicht auch ein Wissen, das es einen tieferen Sinn gibt. Auch wenn wir im Westen uns für mehr aufgeklärt halten, in Zeiten der Krisen haben viele Menschen oft gar keinen Halt und keine Hoffnung. Da geht es dann nur noch ums Überleben.
Die pralle Sonne die mir ins Fenster scheint ist schon sehr heiß, und es ist ja erst März. Nun kommt bald die heißeste Zeit, es wird bis zu 45 Grad Celsius, fast unerträglich, - zu schwitzen, ohne das man sich irgendwie bewegt. Aber mir macht das nicht so viel aus, ich bin hitzebeständig. Ich schlafe dann trotzdem mit dem Feuer.
Im Bus habe ich das Fenster weit auf, und bin dankbar dass ich bequem liege, meine Beine ausstrecken kann,  und schlafe immer wieder ein. Die Zeit vergeht im Flug. Zusammen mitAnnie Boyd habe ich dann eine wirkliche Bewegung in Junagadh für das bewusste Atmen, Rebirthing erschaffen.
Die Anfangszeit war sehr langsam, und bedurfte all meiner Geduld. Unsere indischen Klienten trafen Verabredungen, und dann erschienen sie manchmal einfach nicht, ob Lehrer oder einfacher Arbeiter, ob verantwortlicher Geschäftsmann oder Hausfrau. Interessant dabei ist, das wenn in Mumbai jemand eine Verabredung trifft, sie wird normalerweise eingehalten, in Hyderabad schon etwas ungenauer mit der Zeitangabe aber je ärmer die Städte, je weniger der Verlass auf Absprachen. Da ist auch ganz sicher ein Zusammenhang mit dem Wohlstand und des sich Einbringens  Das “komm ich heut nicht, komm ich vielleicht morgen” ist halt schlecht auch fürs Geschäft.
Annie und ich begannen unser Klientel aufzubauen mit jedem den wir trafen. Annie, mit ihrer originalen australischen Natur ging auf ihre walkabouts. Ich gab die Richtung an, sie die Geschwindigkeit. Sie liebte den Kontakt mit allen, ließ sich völlig ein und verpasste keine Umarmung und Einladung bei den Menschen die sie so liebt. Ich fand oft doch die Zeit mich zurückzuziehen um zu meditieren und mich nach innen zu wenden. Einladungen zum Essen gab es überall.  Der Gast ist König! Wir hatten das beste Essen. Das Essen in Gujarat ist fantastisch, etwas scharf gewürzt für den westlichen Geschmack, aber wem das nichts ausmacht, der ist im Paradies. Ich habe mich nie so gesund gefühlt im Bezug auf das Essen. Gujarat ist ein voll vegetarischer Staat, traumhaft gute Qualität.
 Ein Klientel aufzubauen schafft man leicht, wenn man seine Termine einhält, und das taten Annie und ich dann so wie wir konnten. Wir trafen unsere Verabredungen, und mehr und mehr Menschen hörten von uns, es sprach sich rum. Ich hielt verschieden Vorträge Der riesengroße Ansturm kam dann in der letzten Woche bevor ich nach Hyderabad flog. Ein Atem – Lehrer mit einer verbundenen Atemtechnik kam dann zu uns, davon schrieb ich ja schon. Lehrer, Schulleiter, Ärzte, Ingeneure, Geschäftsleute und einfache Arbeiter kamen zu uns.

Jeden Tag waren wir auf unserer Mission den Menschen aller Gesellschaftsschichten hier Rebirthing zu schenken.
Kaschmiri Baba hatte doch einige Lücken in seiner Glaubwürdigkeit, aber er lebt seit 60 Jahren mit einem Feuer in seiner Hütte. In der Bevölkerung ist er seit Generationen bekannt. Seine Haut sieht sehr jung aus. Seine Worte zu mir waren die gleichen, die Babaji mir im Dhuni in Schweden vor einigen Jahren gesagt hat. Seine Anwesenheit erfüllte mich mit Humor und Freude, ich fühlte mich zu Hause. Ich kann mir vorstellen in Indien zu leben.
Unsere Reise zu Gunia Papu war ein besonderes Erlebnis. Leider liebte er sein Chilum doch sehr, was sein Bewusstsein sehr trübte. Er zeigte uns ein Foto von sich was schon sehr alt war aus einem Zeitungsartikel.
 Raju, unser ständiger Begleiter wurde zu einem unersetzbaren Freund, unsere Motorradtouren zu dritt durch die Stadt(Annie im Sari) und unsere gemeinsamen Ausflüge waren einige der Höhepunkte an Spaß und Lachen. Und ohne seine Hilfe bei der Übersetzung wären wir oft nicht weitergekommen. Als ich Gunia Papu einlud bei nächsten Mal eine Atemsitzung mit mir zu machen, erzählte uns Raju später das er ihm übersetzt habe, das  ich mich ihm beim nächsten mal hingeben würde!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Wir kamen aus dem Lachen nicht mehr heraus! So ist das, wenn man die Sprache nicht spricht, ein guter Übersetzer ist Gold wert.
Trotz Lärm und Dreck, Indien ist ein so tiefes Erlebnis, man kann sich nicht nur einfach die Landschaft oder Natur anschauen, wie zum Beispiele die Hügel in Junagadh, sondern in die Herzen der Menschen zu sehen berührt tief. Besonders die Arbeit mit Frauen gibt viele Einsichten über die Kultur. Scheidung ist in ländlichen Bereich immer noch so ein großer sozialer Makel, so dass viele Frauen auch in den größten Misshandlungen nichts sagen. Zum Glück ist es nicht so an der Tagesordnung, aber die Freiheiten im Vergleich zum Westen sind doch sehr durch den Ehemann oder die Familie bestimmt. Wenn man die Menschen fragt, wie es ihnen geht,  wird man immer in Indien die gleiche Antwort bekommen: gut! Aber das ist ja vielleicht auch bei uns nicht anders, aber es dauert eine lange Zeit und Bedarf einer großen Intimität, persönliches zu erfahren.
Ich liebe Indien, und freue auf meine baldige Reise dorthin.

These are my insights about which I meditate while I'm doing my planning for the next few weeks. After a long time I am spending again the summer in Germany. It's such a joy to replant my garden with flowers, to be there long enough to enjoy it for myself too! So many butterflies and birds are living with me here in the hedge and in the grove. It blooms and smells wonderful. I am 22 years now on my journey through the world, 20 of those years with rebirthing breathwork.
My work in Germany is a great addition. To harvest everything that has grown inside of me 20 years, to collect it and give to the outside. The common thread of my life is always there. Here in Wipperfurth I can practically add political, intellectual, spiritual, personal and professional work together.
This year's annual body meeting of RBI eV Germany took place on 6 May 2011. It was a very constructive meeting, we made plans for this year, some of it is already implemented, this newsletter is indeed a part of it. Lamia and I were confirmed as the board.

 Tchydjo, our shamanic friend from Brazil has moved me personally into his very impressive ceremonies. The medicine of the Amazon is full of strength and wisdom. My stomach, my stress point, was also very moved, the things I have eaten into it, swollowed down in the past. Now there is also a sweat lodge at my center. I had some time afterwards to rest before I started building up my work in Germany again. We are planning another visit for Tchydjo, to invite him after Christmas

A different family constellation. How I feel about myself in the whole of all aspects of my life? What might pull me apart through opposing forces, and how can I combine them, so I become a whole, in unity?

A technique wh becomes an inner need. How can I express myself successfully, that I meet my needs and can support others? How do I find compromises on seemingly unsolvable problems?

  Many have asked me how it went in India. Well, the big success came a week before I wanted to leave for Hyderabad. After my talks in the Rotary Club and another publiclecture  a meditation teacher who is very successful there did his sessions with me. After his first session he told me that he had taught 18 years theory, now I bring the real experience. From then on, demand exploded. He sent us many of his students, and Annieand I rebirthten 4-6 people per day. I had booked my ticket already to Hyderabad andflew for 10 days there to visit my friends and clients. I gave every day between 3-5sessions. In the meantime, the need for more breathwork sessions in Junagadh was so great that I decided to return and join Annie again for 6 days before my flight back to Germany. Annie and I trained 2 Breathing guides. The day before I left, we went toBaghwan a wise teacher, and to his ashram, where I had the great honor to hold a talk.It was transmitted by radio even to the USA. Now there are very, very many people in India who are waiting for our return. It is my great wish, in November / December to flyback there with an international team of Rebirther to further educate and work there inJunagadh. Our work was largely unpaid. With a monthly income of 100 € for the whole family to eat one can not expect very much financially. That what comes back is at a deeper level. The gratitude and love and respect was a heartwarming experience.

India, the land of extremes

On 17 March, I landed in India. Exactly two months after I had left the country again for 7 weeks! This time I flew to Mumbai via Istanbul, and from there directly a connecting flight to Ahmedabad in the state of Gujarat. I continued the journey with a rickshaw to the bus terminal. There, waiting 1 hour and then by bus 6 hours to Junagadh. A Rikshadrive is an experience in itself. Only to negotiate the price, because otherwise you can create an unpleasant experience. Like everywhere else in life it is good to have clear agreements. I was pretty tired because my trip lasted already about 20 hours. On a comfortable couch in the bus I looked at the scenery flying by, the elegant women with continuous heavy loads on their heads, loads, I can not even lift. Cows in the middle of the streets, stray dogs, very dirty, trash and dirt everywhere, and in between the beauty of the faces, holy temple in which people share their everyday life with God. God lives in India with the people and by the people. Every morning and evening bells ring in every Hindu house. Each house has a small altar in honor of saints. Humility is one the highest attitudes that I personally appreciate very much. It also includes a trust, perhaps a knowledge that there is a deeper meaning. Even if we think in the West we are more educated, this can enlightened us,  as in times of crises, many people often do not find comfort and no hope. Then it is only about survival.
The blazing sun in the window seems already very hot, and it's only March. Now comes the hottest time soon,  up to 45 degrees Celsius, almost unbearable - to sweat, without  moving. But I do not mind this much, I'm resistant to heat. I sleep with the fire then anyway.
In the bus I had the window wide open, and I am grateful that I am lieing down, can stretch my legs and sleep comfortably again and again. Time flies.
 Together with Annie Boyd, we started areal movement in Junagadh for conscious breathing,  rebirthing.
The beginning time was very slow, and I needed all my patience. Our Indian clients' made appointments, and then they sometimes dd not appear, whether a teacher or a laborer, whether responsible business man or housewife. It is interesting that when someone makes an appointment in Mumbai, it will be kept. Iin Hyderabad somewhat less accurate with the time but the poorer cities, the less reliance on the agreements. Since this is most certainly connected with the level of prosperity and this  "I do not come today, maybe tomorrow I'll come" is just too bad for business.
Annie and I started to build our clientele with everyone we met. Annie, went with her original Australian nature on her walkabouts. I gave the direction, she the speed of it.She loved the contact with all, gave herself completly and never missed a hug and an invitation to the people she loves. I often found the time yet to retire to meditate and to turn inward. Invitations to dinner were everywhere. The guest is king! We had the best food. The food is fantastic in Gujarat, slightly spicy and seasoned for the Western taste, but to whom this is nothing that is in paradise. I have never felt so healthy in terms of the food. Gujarat is a fully vegetarian state, dreamlike quality.

Building up a clientele is easy, if one keeps appointments, and so Annie and I  did the best we could. We made our appointments, and more and more people heard of us,  the word gets around. I held various presentations, the gigantic demand came in the last week before I flew to Hyderabad. A breath - a teacher with a connected breathing technique came to us, which I wrote already about. Teachers, principles, docters, ingeneers, business people and house wifes alike come to us.

Every day we were on our mission to give people of all walks of life this rebirthing.
Kashmiri Baba had a few holes in his credibility, but he has lived for 60 years with a fire in his hut. In the population, he has been known for generations. His skin looks very young.His words to me were the same, that Babaji said to me in the Dhuni in Sweden several years ago. His presence filled me with humor and joy. I felt at home. I can imagine living in India.
Our trip to Gunia Papu was a special experience. Unfortunately, he loved his Chilum very, very much, it clouded his mind somewhat. He showed us a photo of himself which was already very old from a newspaper article.

Raju, our constant companion was a voracious friend, our motorcycle tours through the city with the three of us as well our joint trips where some of the highlights of fun and laughter. And without his help with the translation, we wouldhave been stuck too often.When I invited Gunia Papu next time to make a breathing session with me, Raju told us later that he had translated him that I would give myself to him the next time !!!!!!!!!!!!!We could not stop laughing any more! That's what happens when one does not speak the language, a good translator is worth (worse) gold.
Despite the noise and dirt, India is such a profound experience, one can not simply look at the landscape or nature, to see for examples the hill in Junagadh, but in the hearts of the people you feel deeply. Especially the women, working with many I had insights about the culture. Divorce is in rural area still such a big social stigma, many women do not say anything even in the greatest abuse. Fortunately it is not  the norm, but the freedom is compared to the West still very determined by the husband or the family. If you ask people how they're doing, you will always get the same response in India: good! But that is perhaps no different from us, but it takes a long time and needs a great intimacy, to experience truthful personal openess.

Heike Strombach is the international coordinator for Rebirth International and trained as a Rebirther Breath worker and Trainer with Leonard Orr, the founder of Rebirthing Breath work, in 1991. Since then, Heike has continued to work and study with Leonard in addition to leading her own inspiring seminars and trainings. A Reiki master since 1993, firewalker and family constellation facilitator since 1999
Heike is based at her training centre in Wipperfürth, Germany and works as well in many countries and continents around the world, often at the RBI international training center in the US and in Brazil. She completed her formal training as a nurse and studies as a nursing educator in 1978 and 1986
